Software and Simulation

KMT utilizes state-of-the-art three dimensional simulation systems. Simulation is applied during the concept and engineering phases of the project and is used for off-line programming of the system.

Simulation allows our engineers to:

  • Model a new or existing work cell in 3D, with a variety of robot models and configurations
  • Import part data in DXF, IGES or CATIA format to develop 3D programs off-line
  • Evaluate work cell cycle time, configuration and product flow
  • Download/upgrade programs to and from the robot controller without the need for translation
